Remove the factory intake resonator and blank off its single port for a clearer induction and turbo sound. The plug is secured with the supplied jubilee clip, so there's no cutting and it's fully reversible.

Made from a high-temperature, impact-resistant engineering material that handles engine bay heat, fuel vapour and vibration, built to last.

What it actually does

Plugging the factory intake resonator on a BMW G30 2.0L (B48) is all about sound and looks. It isn't a power upgrade, and we won't pretend it is.

• More turbo and induction sound. BMW fits the resonator purely to cancel out certain intake noises and keep the cabin hushed. Plug it and you'll hear more turbo spool, plus a clearer diverter valve whoosh when you lift off the throttle.
• A tidier engine bay. The bulky plastic resonator chamber comes off, so the intake looks cleaner and more purposeful.
• Smoother air path. With the resonator cavity gone, air has one less pocket to swirl in on its way to the engine. Don't expect dyno gains though. This one is for your ears.

🔧 Fitting

Unclip and lift out the factory resonator. Push the plug into the open port and tighten the jubilee clip to secure it.
